Welcome to Mystik and Tangowood Morgans
This site represents 2 morgan farms, Mystik Morgans (Laura MacMurchy) and Tangowood Morgans (Corrie MacMurchy). Laura and Corrie have been raising Morgans for 25 plus years developing a very successful breeding program. The horses spend their summers together on 40 acres located west of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Some of their foundation bloodlines include - Ramuls Justin, Model, Rockwood, Flyhawk, Shawalla, and Triple S breeding. What we are striving to raise are quality Morgans with substance, beauty, brains and heart. We only raise a few foals every year to ensure quality time is spent with each one. We believe in riding our mares until they have proven to us that they are worthy to produce foals. Over the years we have retained the best mares possible to produce quality horses that have excelled in all disciplines, including western, trail, english, jumping, dressage and cattle work. They are the true meaning of versatile! Although we have separate farm names we operate as a family, helping each other as well as support from the rest of the family members. Corrie and her husband Brad have 2 daughters (Kaytlyn and Brittany) that are also very involved with the horses. Kaytlyn has excelled in english, jumping and dressage.
